During early 1993 and mid 1994, the Oh My Goddess! (ああっ女神さまっ, Aa! Megami-sama!?) OVA series was directed by Hiroaki Gōda, animated by Anime International Company and produced by KSS, Tokyo Broadcasting System and Kodansha, featuring the central characters of Kosuke Fujishima’s popular Oh My Goddess! series. It was distributed in Japan by Pony Canyon and in North America by AnimEigo ([1]). The storyline initially parallels the early parts of the original manga, and is similar to early episodes of the later 2005 TV series, but soon moves off onto a tangent of its own.
